Traceabililty and Compliance Platform
RESONANZ Group together with the Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture (SFSA) created an advanced SaaS platform (Farmforce) that reduces the overhead costs of managing many smallholder farmers and their growing activities, while providing the traceability and compliance required for more formal export markets. The platform helps smallholder farmers gain access to wider markets and thereby obtain better prices.
RESONANZ Group was responsible for the initial concept, design, software development and operational support of the entire SaaS platform.
The solution comprises of a web app and multi-language mobile app that synchronises with the cloud. The mobile app works offline and integrates with a wireless printer for printing receipts, an external laser scanner for improved barcode scanning and a Bluetooth weight scale for fraud prevention. It’s a comprehensive solution for managing the entire growing process of thousands of farmers, from planting through to harvest and packaging.
Farmforce is used for a wide range of business functions. The platform is modular and able to support many types of customers with varying needs.
Farmforce is currently used in 30+ countries and now exists as a separate business.
